Latimer County Election Board
The Latimer County Election Board is responsible for maintaining voter registration records and for the conduct of all federal, state, county, municipal, school, and fire district elections in Latimer County.
The Election Board is composed of three members: Karen S. Ford, Secretary; Nils Raunikar, Chairman; Terri Ramirez, Vice-Chairman.
The Secretary of the County Election Board is charged with the operational responsibilities of the Board, including, but not limited to, supervising personnel, defining job positions and responsibilities, discharge of the employees and appointing and training precinct officials, tallying and certifying official election results, preparing the annual budget, preparing and filing all reports, and implementing policies, findings, and actions lawfully prescribed or determined by the County Election Board. Some specific duties include printing and testing election ballots and programs and provides public information for all election-related activities.
